We are looking for HR Generalist to join our IT team
We're looking for someone to join our team who will make sure we get the right people and that they feel comfortable and happy to stay with us.
You'll take care of recruiting new developers,
make sure onboarding goes smoothly and naturally,
make sure the team has a great environment to work in,
and you'll handle the employment law agenda.
What does HR mean to us?
HR is a role that connects people, technology and team energy.
You'll be responsible for the entire HR cycle - from writing adverts, interviewing, onboarding and working with people within the team. But don't worry, that doesn't mean you'll be dealing with everything every day. Sometimes your main focus will be recruitment, other times it will be preparing a team event, feedback or nurturing a newcomer. And you definitely won't be on your own - you'll always be working with the team on a lot of things. Part of HR is communicating externally - creating content that shows who we are as a team and how we think about work. For example, through posts on Linkedin or our website.
Recruitment
You will create clear and appealing adverts, reach out to people on LinkedIn, communicate with candidates and schedule interviews. We're not just about "finding someone to join the team", we want the right fit - both professional and human. We select new colleagues in close collaboration with the team. We plan to hire approximately 5 more developers this year.
Onboarding
It's not just about "passing on approaches". Onboarding is the first step to making a newcomer feel comfortable in the team. We prepare materials, plan the first day, set up meetings, and gather feedback - from the newbie and the team. And we don't forget about the little things like birthdays on the calendar, because we know that even the little things create an atmosphere.
Administration
You'll be preparing employment contracts, tracking attendance, managing leave, processing payroll documents and communicating with the accountant. It's important that everything is completed correctly and sent out on time.
Caring for the team
Culture and taking care of the team is something we take seriously here - but it also comes naturally. This includes planning team building events, regular chats or Christmas parties.
What do we expect from you?
You have experience with HR agenda (recruitment, onboarding, administration), ideally in IT.
You know the basics of employment law and payroll.
You know how to communicate properly - with candidates and the team.
You work systematically and independently - we are a small company, not a corporation.
You have a desire to get involved in the life of the company and bring your own ideas.
What is our culture?
Trust, openness and accountability - these are the values we build on. We're a small team that knows what we do well - and when something doesn't work, we're upfront about it. We work independently, but we're not alone. We share things openly, we help each other and we're not afraid to speak up.
We look for people to join our team - usually developers who feel the same way. It's important to us that the person can plan things, tighten things up, work independently and be responsible. People who resonate with us aren't afraid to communicate - with colleagues and clients - and know that if something isn't said, nothing gets done.
We don't expect you to evaluate technical skills - we have developers for that. Your job is to see how a person thinks, communicates, and if they would fit with our team not only professionally, but also humanly. HR is not a support role with us. It's a key part of the company. We're not looking for someone who will just carry out an assignment - we want a partner who will actively create an environment where people are comfortable working.
What do we offer in return?
40 - 60 000 CZK
Work on HPP or cooperation through a contract
Remote work* with regular meetings or 100% onsite in Brno
Sick days
Trust and space to make decisions
A team that knows that the human side is as important as the technology
If there is any information that is important to you that is missing here, we will be happy to discuss it with you at a joint meeting.
*How does REMOTE cooperation work for us?
Even though we work remote-first, face-to-face meetings are crucial for us - they help to deepen collaboration, relationships and the sharing of ideas. The developers mainly work on technical topics, while others work on project, marketing or business topics.
It always works well when someone from outside the field enters the discussion - a new perspective often brings a better solution. Productivity may be slightly lower, but we see the space for informal conversations and wider context as key to building strong relationships and better collaboration.
